5/11/2023 0 Comments Papa browns carrickfergus menu![]() The three of us (brother, sister and I) descended upon this Papa Browns ready to devour a hefty midday meal. Lunchtime had arrived, and with it growling stomachs. I must say though, I was mightily impressed. Papa Browns was the restaurant of choice the day we hit Carrickfergus, mainly because the seaside town doesn’t really offer a huge variety of eateries. Definitely the place to go to get a good meal at a reasonable price! The staff here are efficient and friendly and have no problem with catering to every request and offering assistance if required. They also do LARGE soft drinks, so there is no problems with having to make a small overpriced Coke from a mixer bottle have to last you the whole meal! A wide range of alcoholic beverages are also available. Meals are large, so you get fantastic value for money and there is absolutely no chance you will be leaving hungry. From Burgers and Wraps, to Lasagne, Steaks, and Fish dishes which change regularly, along with a daily specials menu, even the fussiest eater will find something they love here. There really is something for everyone on the menu at Papa Brown’s. Conveniently located very close to the centre of the town, there is also a good sized car park directly outside. Papa Brown’s restaurant is a spacious, modern restaurant, in a custom build building, with spectacular views over Carrickfergus Marina and Carrickfergus Castle. If you’re in Carrick, and looking reasonably priced, decent food, give it a try, you’ll not regret it. Usually there’s some sort of music on the big screen and the atmosphere is always bright, and the service is inevitably quick. The food, is lovely, I always have the mixed grill, which leaves me pretty much unable to move afterwards, the other half adores the chicken stack, and it’s always been consistently good, especially when washed down with a cold bottle of Stella. I’ll be honest, I had literally watched the place being built, but it was years before I ventured inside, it’s a nice place, looking good without any hint of pretentiousness, there’s a huge projector telly on the back wall and dark wood booths, they also seem to have cornered the market on friendly staff, certainly they are much better than a few other places I have been. ![]() More reliable network from which to attend the Connect meeting. For me to eat in the same place twice, is a rarity, for me to eat in the same place twice in a week, is unheard of, but PaPa Browns is a rare exception.
